What is NOMA?
Our goal is for you to firmly know that you will feel good working and living in your next home and destination even before booking it. We believe that work should not limit exploration and that exploration should not limit productivity. That's why we provide services for remote workers and digital nomads so they can work & live comfortably in every corner of the world.
Who can become a NOMA Ambassador?
For now, we are looking for remote workers who can travel abroad while working for up to 2 weeks, at least once a year. See above for the other requirements.
What are the benefits of becoming a NOMA Ambassador?
Paid accommodations for the duration of a trip, discovering beautiful destinations, getting exclusive tips to improve your life as a digital nomad, contributing to build a better future for remote workers & digital nomads, and being involved in the early stages of a startup.
What is expected from me as a NOMA Ambassador?
You will have to visit the destination you were selected for and stay in the accommodation we assigned to you for the whole duration of your stay. You are expected to work for your regular job as usual so you can truly get a sense of how it is to work & live in this destination. You will have to visit cafes and coworking spaces and work from those places to evaluate them. You will have to do local activities such as eating at restaurants, going to the local gym, doing the groceries, going out to the pubs, exploring the neighborhood to find little gems, and curating other local services. You will have to thoroughly and transparently evaluate the accommodation, the coworking spaces and most experiences you do. You will have to share your adventures within your network, your communities or on your social media while mentioning NOMA and other partners.
How long does it take to become a NOMA Ambassador?
From the moment you apply, it can take from 2 to 4 weeks to become a NOMA Ambassador. But it doesn't mean you will be invited to go on a trip during that time. This will vary depending on the trips we are organizing and your availability.
How many digital nomads will be accepted as NOMA Ambassadors?
For now, we are aiming at a total of 20 ambassadors. This number is subject to change.
How many trips can I join per year?
This will vary greatly depending on the number of trips we are organizing and the number of ambassadors we have. We want to equally allow our ambassadors to explore new destinations. Ideally, we want you to join at least 1 trip per year.
Can I invite my partner, family, friends or coworkers to join me on a trip?
Yes, if this is how you usually travel. Our ambassadors represent different types of digital nomads: solo, couples, group of friends, group of coworkers, families, or even with furry friends. That way we can make sure the accommodations we publish on our platform are adapted to everyone's needs.
Where will I travel to?
For now, we are focusing on South Korea to find the best places to work & live from. Once we discovered enough destinations in Korea, we will ask you to go explore the rest of the world.
During a trip, what is paid by NOMA, what is not?
Only the accommodation & the access to a coworking-space (if applicable) will be paid by NOMA. The rest of the expenses (travel, food, drinks, activities, etc.) will be paid by you.
